Bead Theme for April: Birds & Branches

Art Bead Scene wants to introduce our first Monthly Bead Theme! This month's theme is Birds & Branches. We have scoured the Internet, our favorite resources, and our own collections for some great examples of art beads with either tree branch or bird imagery, and here are some of our favorites:

(above) Polymer clay Cherry Blossom beads by Heather Powers of Humble Beads

(above) Two ceramic lovebird pendants by
Virginia Miska

(above) A set of amber glass lampworked pod beads by Lori Greenberg

(above) Realistic branch buttons by Tari Sasser of Clay Buttons

(above) Tiny porcelain bird and tree related charms by Earthenwood Studio

(above) Pewter folk bird by D'Arsie Manzella of Mamacita Beadworks

(above) Ceramic bird pendant by Elaine Ray

(above) Mythic Winged Goddess bird bead by Cindy Gimbrone of Lampwork Diva

So what would you bead with these wonderful beads and pendants? We hope you will show us! Check back tomorrow for an exciting announcement related to the Bead Theme of the month!

I LOVE this blog. In fact, I bookmarked it. Even though I mostly use seed beads, I love to look at these handcrafted beads, as well. Great job:)

BTW, I adore the lovebirds=:)

OOoo, pretty!

I lusted after those Earthenwood birdie coordinated ones as soon as I saw them through a blog reader when she posted them on her blog!
